MAHADEO SOONAD DAULAT Mahadeo passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Riverview Hospital at the age of 72. He was born in Trinidad and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1960 to pursue university. He retired from Red River College after a long career in teaching. He was passionate about teaching, golf, travel, cooking, crab fishing, but most importantly he loved his family, friends and absolutely adored his grandchildren. Mahadeo is survived by his best friend and wife of 41 years, Marilyn, three children Sean, Larissa (Kent), and Tim, grandchildren Zachary, Matyas, Jonah and Tiana. He is also lovingly missed by his two brothers Jagdeo and Sahadeo (Mona) in Trinidad, many nieces, nephews and their families, in-laws, and cherished friends. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at Cancer Care, especially nurse Barb Hues and Dr. Houston, the caring staff in the Home Care Program, Riverview Hospital, and Dr. Kaushal's wonderful support from India. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 109 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice.
